Eddie Anthony Champagne, Sr. on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11:25 A.M. Beloved husband of Martha Bergeron Champagne. Father of Floris Mae Wakefield (Randall), Barton Champagne (Gail), Regina Champagne Babin (Terry), Eddie Champagne, Jr. (Sarah), Michael Champagne (Jamie), Aaron Champagne (Traci), Joshua Champagne, and the late Mitchell A. Champagne and Sidney Champagne. Brother of Claribell Baudoin, Betty Landry, and the late Gloria Oertling, Floris Mae Champagne, and Felix (Buddy) Champagne. Grandfather of Joshua, Alyssa, Jonathan, Michelle, Wesley, Nathan, Sydni , Madalyn, and Alix. Great-Grandfather of Landon and Liam. Mr. Champagne was an Eagle Scout, was a U.S. Marine who served in the Pacific Theater WWII, and was retired from Exxon Oil Company. Eddie was a loving husband who just celebrated 60 years of marriage on December 4, 2011.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church , 234 Angus Drive Luling, La. ,on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation on Saturday, December 24, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Followed by Interment in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, La.
