Ella Mary Sears McMahon passed away peacefully in her home on Monday Morning, October 21, 2013. She was 81. Beloved wife of the late John T. McMahon. Mother of the late Deborah Ann Guilbeau. Grandmother of Dina Guilbeau and the late Craig Burgo. Sister of Barbara Hammer, Mary Rost, Harris Lester, Jr., and the late Peter Sears, Jr., Adam Sears, Ann Lester, Delores LeBoeuf, Robert Lester, and Randy Lester. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded by her parents, Peter Sears, Sr. and Willie Anna Sears Lester. She was a native of New Orleans, and resident of Harvey for 43 years. She was an active member of Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 12:00 Noon.
