Enis "NuNu" or "Scooter" John Cheramie Jr.

Enis "NuNu" or "Scooter" John Cheramie Jr. of Houma, Louisiana rode his Harley Davidson to heaven on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Westwego, Louisiana. He was born to Doris Ruth Bruce Cheramie Norman (the late Kay Don Norman) and the late Ennis John Cheramie, Sr. Devoted father of Kristina Marie Saltzman (the late Philip), Enis John Cheramie III, the late Guy Paul Cheramie, and Joshua Johnson (Megan). Proud PaPa Enis of Philip J. Saltzman II, Kolyn T. Saltzman, Krista E. Saltzman, Kali Cheramie, Brock Littrell, and great grandfather of Drae J. Wedge. Loving brother of Pam C. Ballew (Steven), Lisa M. Myers (Michael), the late Christina M. Cheramie, the late Bruce A. Cheramie, Jason Netherland, Elizabeth Cheramie, John P. Cheramie, Desiree Norman, Troy Don Norman, and Shawn Norman. Enis is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish his memory.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 31st, 2024 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the Mass time. Enis will be laid to rest at Plaisance Family Cemetery in Westwego, Louisiana following the Mass. Family and friends are invited to the repast at the Funeral Home after the Graveside service.
