Enola Dufrene

She is the loving sister of Sylais, Manuel, J.D., Earl, Riley, Evelyn, Bert, Ruby, Wilma, Dorothy, Willie and Joseph. She is now joined will all her siblings in heaven and the last of 13 children.

She is preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Edith Dufrene, her daughter Ann Roberts, her granddaughter Crystal Steading, grandson Andrew L. Banks and her son-in-law Andrew R. Banks.

Enola is the beloved grandmother of Tammy Kaiser (Rusty), Ashlyn Sanchez (Nick), Great-Grandmother of Baileigh (Arron), Bryson Sanchez, Mason Sanchez, Allie, Alissa and Ryan and Great-Great Grandmother of Jacob. Enola is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A special thank you for their support, Septine Roberts who was always there for Enola.

A visitation for Enola will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church in the House, 1100 Avenue E, Westwego, Louisiana 70094, followed by a committal service at Sanctified Cemetery in Westwego, Louisiana at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for final expenses can be made at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana 70072.
