Ernest Joseph Cepriano, 81, passed away on July 6th, 2021 at his home in Marrero, Louisiana. Ernest was native to Lafitte, Louisiana and born in Myrtle Grove, Louisiana to the late Salvador and Georgina Thiel Cepriano. Ernest shared 25 years with the love of his life, the late Rita Mae Carmadelle. Father of Salvador Cepriano, Anthony Cepriano, Sandy Cepriano, Alva Cepriano, Ernest Cepriano Jr., David Carmadelle, Joshua Carmadelle, Rudy Carmadelle, Wendy Mays, Estelle Bellanger, and the late Allen Carmadelle and Virginia Baye. Brother of Juliana Schieffler, Ellanor Roux, George Cepriano, Thellma Pope, and the late Ethel Davenport and Narciso Cepriano. Ernest is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, who will go on to cherish his memory.
A Catholic funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July 12th, 2021 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the service time. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
