Evelyn Gautreau DiMarco

Evelyn Gautreau DiMarco, of Marrero, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022 at the age of 91. Evelyn was born in Fluker, Louisiana to the late Felicie Braud and Davis Gautreau. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. "Pampy" DiMarco for 68 years before his passing in 2018. Loving mother of Gary DiMarco (Paula), Gail D. Simoneaux (the late Norman, Jr.), Gina D. Melancon (Keith Sr.), and the late Glenn DiMarco, Sr. Sister of the late Alma Simmons, Geneva Collin, Marvel Brock, Mack Gautreau, Alvin Gautreau, Joseph "J.L." Gautreau, and Myrtle Gautreau. Proud grandmother of Shannon Dupuy (Marc), Misty Kelso (Jeremy), and the late Keith Melancon, Jr. and Glenn DiMarco, Jr. Great grandmother of Savannah, Blake, Matthew, Connor, Lucas, and Arden. Evelyn is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who are left to cherish her memory.

A Catholic Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, November 28th, 2022 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time. Evelyn will be laid to rest with her husband at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana.
