Geraldine Ann Leblanc

Geraldine "Jeannie" Leblanc passed away on November 24, 2024 at the age of 78. She was born on June 2, 1946 to the late Laura Treadaway. Beloved wife of 37 years to Michael Leblanc. Loving mother of Mary Caulfield (James), Stacy Matherne, Michael Novack, Jack Novack (Renee) and step-mother of Christopher Leblanc (Donna). Proud grandmother of James Caulfield IV, Katlyn Hunter, Alvin Fabre IV, Allen Fabre, Ray Matherne, Jessie Matherne, Daisey Prowell, Hunter Novack, Cody Novack, Kaylah Miku, Elisha Novack, Ella Novack and Jonah Novack and great-grandmother of Emery Hunter, Emmett Hunter, Addie Prowell, Aubrey Prowell and Ariel Prowell. Sister of the late Ruth Treadway. Cousin of Bradford Creppel, Thea Creppel, Alfred Creppel, Thomas Creppel and Christopher Creppel the late Dexter Creppel. Aunt of Theresa Vicknair and Daniel Vicknair. Jeannie is also survived by other extended family and many dear friends.

Jeannie was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved watching Saints and LSU football. Most of all, she loved her family. Jeannie was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 beginning at 9:00AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Memorial Mass will begin at 1:00PM.
