Germaine Parfait Dufrene passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the age of 50. She was the beloved wife of Jimmie Dufrene for 16 years. She was the daughter of Wilson Joseph Parfait and the late Josephine Duplantis Parfait, as well as step daughter of Rita Nora Boudreaux Parfait. She was the sister of Fern Grabert, Yolanda Parfait, Joseph Parfait Jr., Charles Parfait Sr., Farrell Parfait, Fray Parfait, and Travis Parfait, as well as the late Werlin Parfait and Kerry Parfait.
A Funeral Service will be held at Harvest Time Fellowship, 3401 8th St. in Harvey, on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin on Thursday, October 25, at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM, and will continue from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM Friday.
