Harold Dean Bridges

Harold Dean Bridges passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Devoted husband of Salvatrice “Trudy” Barcelona Bridges of 54 years. Loving father of Paul Bridges. A proud grandfather of Kaley Maria Bridges and Ryan Bridges. Son of the late Myrtle Owen Bridges and Marion D. Bridges. Brother of Dorothy Bridges Danos, Ansel Bridges, Cecil Bridges, William “Billy” Bridges and the late Alfred Bridges, and Beatrice Bridges Dixon. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Age 77, a native of E. Laurinburg, NC and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA.

Harold served his country in the United States Air Force and was a business owner of Bridges Causeway Cleaners since 1969. He enjoyed golf, fishing, loved to travel, his coffee and his main passion was his gardening.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 Seventh St., Marrero, LA. Visitation at the church from 9:00 AM until Mass time and visitation on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
