Holley Doming Foret

Holley Lee Doming Foret, 51 entered eternal rest on January 1, 2024, with her loved ones by her side. She was the beloved wife of John Matthew Foret. Devoted mother of Abigail (Blaze Plaisance) and Harley Foret along with her grandpup Stormy. Daughter of Kathleen Doming (Monte) and the late Michael Lee Doming. Sister of Monica Doming Perrin and sister in law to Morgan Perrin. Aunt to Morgan Perrin III (Lauren), Matthew Perrin (Amanda) and Myles Perrin (Alayne) Great aunt to Chase, Bella, Morgan IV, Madeleine and Mattie. Godchild of Janet Guichet and the late Daryl “Poncho” Hertz. Godmother to Matthew Perrin and Karli Foret. Maternal granddaughter of the late Ethel and Holley McAllister and Leslie and Joyce Lombas. Holley is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Holley was truly the definition of the word MOM, her daughters were her heart and soul. In 2022 Holley was diagnosed with Cancer, she was determined and courageous until she gained her wings. Holley was employed at Avondale Shipyard until closing in 2013 as the Secretary for the Trades / Welding Departments.

A visitation for Holley will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. A rosary service will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 146 4th St, Westwego, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. A committal service will immediately follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Gate of Heaven, in Westwego.
