Huey John Este Sr.

Beloved Husband of the late Rosalie Balestra Este; son of the late Clebert Este and Cecile Carmadelle Este; father of Huey J. Este, Jr., Gary Este and the late Larry Este, Sr. ; father-in-law of Catherine Este, Glenn Rae Woods and Carol Hellums; brother of Vesta Dufrene, Lois Broadhead, Anna Mae Hogan (Jerry), the late Martha Falcon, Nolan and Junius Este.

He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Rory Este, Desiree Thibodeaux, Larry Este, Jr., Brandi King, and Cory Este. Great grandfather of Kayla and Hannah Este, Shelby, Matthew and Hunter Thibodeaux, Jason Jr., Stormie and Sierra King.

Huey was in the Navy and served in World War II.

Relatives, friends, Parish family of St. Joachim, and Southern Tire are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joachim Catholic Church, 5505 Barataria Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana, on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow with Celebrant Rev. G. Amaldoss and Deacon Wil Robichaux, Jr. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, Louisiana.
