Ivan Joseph Adams passed away on May 20, 2022 at the age of 59. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Almon and Margaret Fray Adams. Brother of the late Arlene Adams Barthe. Uncle of Ethel Barthe, Elise Barthe, Calise Barthe, Elia Barthe, Almon Barthe and the late Michael Barthe. Ivan is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, friends and his furbaby, Charlie.
Ivan spent most of his life building computers. He was also a very active member of the LGBTQ+ community. He loved the outdoors. Ivan moved to Alabama so he would be able to enjoy the hills, trails and waterfalls. He never met a stranger. He would make friends everywhere he went. Most of all, Ivan loved his family. He enjoyed making trips to Louisiana to visit his loved ones. Ivan was loved and will be dearly missed.
