Jackie was the daughter of Linda and Jack Burton; sister of Jill Gabourel and John Burton; sister in law of Paul Gabourel and Amanda Burton; Aunt of Caitlin Burton, Jessica Gabourel, and Brennan Gabourel. She will also be missed by her partner, Opal Carriere and her son Brandon Carriere and his two children, Chloe and Phoenix Carriere.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Sarah Burton & John and Ellen Gabriel.
Friends, coworkers and family are invited to attend a visitation in her honor on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5 until 9 pm. Visitation will resume Friday, September 18, 2015 from 9 am until funeral time. The funeral service will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
Jackie was the previous owner of Serenity Hospice and was currently an employee at Americare.
She loved traveling, attending Saints games, and spending time with her friends and family.
