James Joseph Alello

James Joseph Alello, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2:00 AM. Age 102 years and a lifelong resident of Harvey and Marrero, LA.

Beloved husband of the late Rose Mary (Tutsie) Allo Alello.

Loving father of Darlina (Dolly) Rodivich (Late: Thomas), Janie Daquin (Leon "Beaver"), and the late Phyllis Celino.

Brother of the late Joseph and Randolph Alello, and Marie Morvant.

Grandfather Marc Rodivich (Melissa), Scott Rodivich (Jeana), Cory Rodivich (Amanda), Leon (Lee) Daquin, Jimmy Daquin (Mollie), Angela Mitchell (Dwayne Stein) and Kerry Celino (Danielle).

Also survived by 20 Great Grandchildren, 8 Great Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives and Friends.

James proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. He retired from the Jefferson Parish School system after 25 year of services as a School Bus Driver. In addition he worked for Regis's Radiator Services for many years. Mr. Alello was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 222 of Marrero, LA, and recently received his 75 year award.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from the Chapel of Westside/Leitz Eagan Funeral Home on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until Mass Time. Interment will be at Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, La.
