Johnny Joseph Hebert Sr. went home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, March 2, 2020 at age 70. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a native of Crown Point, Louisiana and resided in Angie, Louisiana for the past 35 years. He worked for Avondale Shipyard in Harvey for 11 years and he was the owner of AAA Farms, as a commercial vegetable grower for 30 years.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 47 years Virginia Prestenbach Hebert. Father of Johnny Hebert Jr., Jason Hebert, and Ralph Prestenbach. Predeceased by his parents the late Irene Oubre Hebert and the late Edward Hebert Sr.. Brother of Betty Sands, Barbara Perrin, the late Linda Hebert, the late Oscar Hebert Sr., the late Edward Hebert Jr. and the late Mary Ann Munch. Grandfather of Sophia McDaniel and Sarah Touchet. He will also be missed by numerous nephews and nieces. No services as requested by the deceased. Westside Leitz-Eagan will be handling the arrangements.
