He was the son of the late Clarence Joseph Foret and Shirley Foret; father of Tasha, Misty, Tabitha, Dustin, and Austin; grandfather of Breahna, Savannah, Jamie, Jada, Dayce, and Parker; great grandfather of Nova Jean, Bentley, Myleigh, and Ivylynn; brother of Rosylin, Randy, Carl, and Susan, as well as the late Floyd. He is also survived by 2 ex spouses, his beloved great dane, Hazel, as well as other relatives, and many friends.
He was a graduate of West Jefferson High School as part of the class of 1977. He started working on boats at his uncle Buddy's propeller shop right after high school, and worked for most of his career building boats. He was a safety foreman at Bollinger East Ship Yard, though he also worked in several other yards. He was a dedicated youth sports coach at PARD Playground. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He loved laughter, both his own and causing it in others. He tried his best to be honest and funny. He enjoyed watching his game shows, trips to the casino with family, putting together puzzles, and playing as many bingo cards at one time as space would allow.
