Larry Paul Jones Jr.

Larry Paul Jones Jr., age 45, of Harvey, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Larry Paul Jones, Jr. entered this life on August 29, 1977, the beloved son of the late Larry Jones Sr. and Earleen Hamilton.  Larry grew up on the Westbank of Jefferson Parish and attended West Jefferson High School.  Early in life Larry met and married the love of his life, Alberta.  Together they had four wonderful children: I’tajah M. Jones, Sylis K. Morgan, Senoj L. Jones, and the late Larry P. Jones, III. 

A cab driver, Larry found his passion in the arts.  Although Larry specialized in digital, logo and graphic designs; producing music and creating beats was his true passion.  He was a part-time music producer with a cache of hundreds of beats.  Larry was a quiet family man.  Although he often kept to himself, he was skilled at playing chess and enjoyed playing online.  He was also an avid video game player. 

In addition to his wife and children, Larry was a consistent figure in the lives of his nephews George Jones, Edward Hayes, Carlton Morris and Chaz Morris; as well as his sisters Zenia A. Jones and the late Larilynn Z. Jones-Day.  Spending ample time in Houston, TX, he ensured to develop lifelong bonds with his extended family.  He exhibited his love for his family in his own special way.

On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, Larry joined his son, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who transitioned before him.  He leaves to treasure his memory his dedicated wife (Alberta), his children (I’tajah, Sylis, and Senoj), his sister (Zenia), his nephews (George, Edward, Carlton and Chaz), and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
