Larry Schaff Sr.

Larry C. Schaff, Sr., age 51 years, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2011. He was the beloved son of Evelyn LeMay Schaff and the late Edward Joseph Schaff, III. He was the loving father of Larry C. Schaff, Jr. and Sierra S. Schaff. He was the brother of Linda Schaff, his twin sister, Thomas and his wife Melissa and Randy and his wife Cathy. He was the uncle of Scott, Ashlie, Stefanie, Randy, Taylor, Meghan, and Erin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, grandnephews and grandnieces.

Larry was a graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School. After high school he played semi-pro football with The New Orleans Blue Knights. He was also a member of the H.B.P.A. and a devoted thoroughbred horse trainer for many years. He was a lifelong resident of Terrytown.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from the Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel. Burial will then follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
