Leo Joseph Cheramie passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at the age of 80. Husband of Gail Gossett Cheramie. Son of the late Ernest Cheramie and Theresa Lee Cheramie. Father of Kent Cheramie (Angel), Wendy Danos (Earl Jr.), Carrie Boudreaux (Kenny Jr.), Kim Guidry (Chris), and Debbie Tassin (the late James). Brother of Lee Allen Cheramie, May Di Govanni, Ruby Speaber, Joyce Cheramie, Gloria Di Vincenti, Betty Ronquille, Dorothy Ruttley, and Darlene Bianchinni, as well as the late Jeffery Cheramie and Ernest Cheramie Jr. Grandfather of Nicole Matherne (Louis), Malcolm LeBlanc III (Mallory), Earl A. Danos III, Lexie Lea Danos, Justin Scarbrough, Derrek Tassin, Kent Cheramie Jr., Kayla Lapara, Brandi Robin (Johnathan), and Kenny Boudreaux III. Great grandfather of Kaydence Leslie, Madilynn Matherne, Tye Nicholas Tassin, Remi Boudreaux, Presley Robin, and Kenzlee Robin. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Cornerstone Christian Center, 6550 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at the church at 9:00 AM Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
