Leroy Anthony Baudoin

Leroy Anthony Baudoin, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on August 13, 2023 at the age of 87. He was born on August 8, 1936 to the late Etienne and Alice Melancon Baudoin. Beloved husband of the late Linda Besson Baudoin. Loving father of Leroy Baudoin, Jr. (the late Linda), Sharon Yeadon (Raymond), Scott Baudoin, Sr. (Tina), Michael Baudoin and the late Wayne Baudoin, Blanche Baudoin. Proud grandfather of Jason Yeadon, Jared Yeadon, James Hogan, Chelsea Chauvin (Jason), Daniel Hogan, Stephanie Hogan, Florence Baudoin, Faith Baudoin, Scott Baudoin, Jr., Joseph Baudoin and Tabitha Baudoin and great-grandchildren Jason Chauvin Jr., Elizabeth Chauvin, Megan Chauvin and many more. Godfather of Lindsey Hogan. Brother of the late Earlis Baudoin, Ella Mae Wertz, Alice Breaux, Ann Chester, Herbert Baudoin and Etienne Baudoin. Leroy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Leroy proudly joined the Air Force in 1954 and served during the Korean War. He was also a member of the American Legion. Leroy loved to play golf and could alway be heard whistling a tune. Leroy was loved and will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5100 Westbank Expressway in Marrero. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM and burial will immediately follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna.
