Lillian Pauline Blake

Lillian Pauline Hill Blake entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at her residence at the age of 69. She was the beloved wife of James Clifton Blake of Picayune, MS, the loving mother of James “Eddie” Blake (Cheryl) of Kaplan, LA, the late Lillian Ledet and Calvin Blake and the devoted grandmother of James “Jr.” Blake (Courtney) of Dover, DE, Randy Ledet, Jr. (Meagan) of Picayune, MS, Samantha Varnado (George) of Picayune, MS, Victoria Holmes (Brad) of Springfield, LA and Amanda Richard of Crowley, LA as well as the step-grandmother of Shana Martin (Joshua) of Bourg, LA and Mandy Ellender of Chauvin, LA. She also leaves behind 8 great-grandchildren and 7 step-great grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Jake Hill and Vannie Malone Hill and the sister of Dorothy Crane of Marrero, LA, Odie Hill, Frank Hill, both of West Point, MS, Charlie Hill of McComb, MS, Donald “Red” Hill of Bryan, TX and the late J.C. Hill, Robert Hill, Elvin Hill and Louise Henley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at WESTSIDE/LEITZ-EAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 5101 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY, MARRERO, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 beginning at 9:00 AM and lasting until 1:00 PM at which time a Prayer Service will be held in the Chapel.
