Louise Ann Ortego

Louise Hebert Ortego, age 81 years old, was born on January 29, 1935, entered into heaven on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, peacefully at her home in Avondale, Louisiana. Beloved wife of the late Webster Allen Ortego of 25 years. Loving mother of Keith Allen Ortego (Becky), Bonney Ortego Berry (Joey), Scott Kelly Ortego (Georgia), Randy Lee Michel (Tammy), Jeanne Louise Ortego and the late Eric James Ortego. A proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Daughter of the late Jeanne Grow Hebert and Felix Hebert. Preceded in death were her brother and sister, Mark Hebert and Wanda Hebert. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary, numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Louise enjoyed having her hair done every Saturday by Ms. Melinda and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She would keep up on current events in the neighborhood. She was the neighborhood newspaper.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, Louisiana, on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 am.
