Lucille Workman Mankel

Lucille Workman Mankel, of Harahan, Louisiana passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022 at the age of 76. Lucille was born in New Orleans, LA to the late George Workman and Zelia Roundtree Workman. Lucille was married to the late Peter Mankel. Devoted mother of Melissa Rousset (Stephen) and Harry Mankel (Misty). Proud Gran of Dillion Rousset (Brittany), Jessica Rivers (Mark), Heather Bozeman (Josh), and Hailey Mankel. Great grandmother of Juliet Rousset, Lily Rousset, and Thea Rivers. Sister of Lorelei Workman, Michael Workman, Tina Kolb, and the late Margaret Antill, George Workman, Jr., Rodney Workman, Carl Workman, and James Workman. Lucille is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends who will miss her dearly.

Lucille was a proud member of the Ladies Red Hat Society, Babes of Bling Chapter. Lucille worked as an Accountant all of her life. Lucille was a caring person and loved her friends and clients as her own family. She was strong woman who battled and beat breast cancer. Lucille's memory will be cherished by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

A Celebration of LIfe will be held in honor of Lucille on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at 440 Oak Avenue in Harahan, Louisiana from 11:00AM-til.
