Maria Hortensia Lambourg passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013. She was 75. Beloved wife of Gabriel J. Lambourg of 48 years. Mother of Jose Luis Garcia (Kathy), Elsa Perez (Edward), Adolfo Garcia, III, (Yovana), Esmeralda Bode (Darrell), the late Maricela Garcia, Rosa Stubbs (Michael), Gabriel A. Lambourg (Colleen), and Arturo Lambourg (Erica). Grandmother of Alisia, Luis, Angelica, Joshua, Eddie, Cristy, Hannah, Daisy, Jessica, Darrell, Jr., Troy, Brittany, Gabrielle, Madeline, and Adrian. Also survived by 14 great-grandchildren. Sister of Marla Oliphant (Jack) and Rosa Lara (Mario). Daughter of the late Maria Suarez and Jose Bartelome del Villar. She was a native of Torreon, Mexico and resident of the New Orleans area for 46 years. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.
