Mary Pollie Tero

Mary Pollie Tero, of Luling, LA, was borrowed from God on July 14, 1927 and returned to God’s loving arms on April 14, 2012. “Pollie” was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon James Tero, Sr. She is survived by her children: Frances Gros, Pollyanne (Tommy) Corley, Jean Tero, Jimmy Tero, Wesley Tero, Lola (Michael) Markovich, David (Karen) Tero, Michael Tero and Sharon Walters; 29 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Besides being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Pollie was a bible scholar and taught Sunday school at West St. Charles Baptist Church for over 45 years.

II Timothy 4:7-8: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

A celebration of Pollie’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm at West St. Charles Baptist Church, 13099 Hwy. 90 in Boutte, LA. Visitation will begin at the church at 11:00 am.
