Michael “Mike” Joseph Caballero, Sr. passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife Julie Hartman Caballero of 22 years. Loving father of Gabrielle Marie Caballero and Michael Joseph Caballero, Jr. Son of Theresa Claudet Caballero and the late Daniel Caballero; son-in-law of Etta Hartman and the late John Hartman. Brother of Daniel Caballero, Jr. (Hollie), Leonard Caballero, Barry Caballero (Elaine), Kevin Caballero (Melanie); his sister, Gayle C. Melancon (Danny). His is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Age 57, a native of Houma, LA and a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. “Mike” was employed by Superior Entergy Services for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, Nov ember 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway.
