Mildred R. Gomez

Mildred Richardson Gomez, age 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2012. She was the Daughter of the late Wilfred and Margaret Richardson, wife of the late Nolan Gomez, Mother of JoAnn Standridge (Sonny) and Wayne J Gomez (Ava), Grandmother of Dwayne, Dean and Dwight Standridge, Jennifer Gray, Denise Gomez and the late Wayne "Lil Wayne" Gomez, Great Grandmother of 9 and Great Great Grandmother of 5, sister of Wilfred "Dukes" Richardson (Beverly), Ethel (Corky) Busby (Glenn), Sister Mary Teresita (Lou) and the late Dolores, Harold and John "Nant" Richardson and Aunt to a host of nieces and nephews. Mildred was a resident of the Westbank all of her life. The family would like to thank all her Pals at Riverbend Nursing Home, Ochsner Medical Center, Gretna and Harmony Hospice for all of their loving care and kindness.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend services. Visitation will be at Westside Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Thusday, April 26, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and continue on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
