He is remembered and cherished by his beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Bartholomew. He is also survived by his children, Mary Catherine Kelly, Kristie Castillo (Juan), Mitchell Bartholomew Jr. (Brandy), William Bartholomew (Ashley), and Kellie Bonnette (T.J.), and the late Rusty Bartholomew, along with his 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 4 God children. He was the son of the late Vincent and Alice Bartholomew. He is also remembered by his siblings, Elliott (Annabelle), Jeffery (Vanessa), Craig (Wanda), Melanie (John), and Lisa (Randy).
He was a dedicated member of Light Tabernacle Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, most of all, spending time with his family.
His funeral will take place at the River of Life Church in Port Sulphur on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Barthelemy Cemetery in Diamond. There will be a repast at the Tribal Center in Grand Bayou.
