Monica Bowers Grabert

Monica Bowers Grabert of Gretna, Louisiana went home to the Lord on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the age of 64. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Frederick and Patsy Bowers. Monica was married to the love of her life, Raymond J. Grabert, Jr. for 48 loving years. Devoted mother of Danna Adamo, Raymond J. Grabert, III, and Jessica Grabert Miller (Jason T. Miller). Proud Maw Maw of John Adamo, Jr. (Jaide), Madison Clark (Travis), Raymond J. Grabert IV, Joseph Wahl, Collin Grabert, Mia Miller, Niya Norris, and Corey Grabert. Great-Grandmother of Noah and Jonah Adamo. Sister of the late Mary Grace Bowers (Sterling), the late Cindy Bowers, the late Joy Lake (Garin), the late Karey Bowers (Deborah), Frederick "Joe" Bowers, Jr. (Crystal), the late John Bowers, James "Jimmy" Bowers, Patricia Guidry, Paula Bowers, the late Jeffery Bowers, Nora Bowers, Allen Bowers, Jandy Bowers, and Johnna Bergeron (Harry). Monica is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends that will miss her dearly.

Monica was a lifelong resident of Louisiana and loved everything outdoors. She had a career as a florist and was the owner of Flower Fantasy for many years. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her beloved family, singing along to her favorite songs, and taking motorcycle rides on her Harley with her husband by her side.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 5th, 2025 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time. Monica will be laid to rest following the service at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana.
