

Murphy “Little Joe” LeBlanc Mollere passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2012 at the age of 80. He was born March 9, 1932 in Harvey, LA, was a longtime resident of the Westbank and then resided in Bush, LA. He was the beloved husband of the late Pearl Bolotte Poche’ Mollere. He was the son of the late Harris Joseph LeBlanc and Valerie Rodrigue LeBlanc and the step-son of the late Lucy and Joe Mollere of Waveland/Bay St. Louis. He was the brother of Corrine Mancha, Ruby T. Trafficano and the late Sydney LeBlanc, Beatrice Simon, Pearl Adams and Effie Rink. He is survived by his step-son Carroll P. Poche’, Jr. (Pat) and the Harrold A. Poche’ (Donna). He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Murphy retired from the LA DOTD with over 25 years of service. He also served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 8:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM in the Chapel.
