

Nathan Luke Boudreaux Sr. passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 21st, 2021 at the age of 80. Loving husband of Rita Plaisance Boudreaux for 29 years. Devoted father of Nathan Boudreaux Jr., Duane Boudreaux (the late Nancy), Eldon Boudreaux (Angela), Egypte B. Phillip (Todd Sr.), the late Simone B. Owen (Tony) and a loving father figure to Lloyd Rome (Deborah), Floyd Rome, Janssen Rome, Jeneen Callais (Danny), and Buffie Rome. Grandfather to 31 grandchildren and Great Grandfather to 32 great grandchildren. Brother of Becky, Ruth, and John. Nathan is also survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Nathan is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Blanche Dugas Boudreaux, his wife of 31 years and the mother of his five children, Marie Badeaux Boudreaux, and his siblings Ernest, David, Daniel, Shirley, Rosalie, Matthew, Ray, Naomi, and Isaac.
A true craftsman, Nathan enjoyed using his hands to work. He was the founder of Boudreaux Nathan Builders and built his business from the ground up. Nathan was a hard worker and dedicated his life to taking care of his family. He loved to see his whole family together, and he relished the fun of the party. He will be missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nursing staff of Canon Hospice and the Surgical Care Unit at West Jefferson Medical Center for their care and compassion during Nathan's time of need.
A Funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on July 31st, 2021 in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero, Louisiana. A visitation will begin at 9:00AM and continue until the service time. Interment will follow at Holy Sanctified Cemetery in Westwego, Louisiana.
