Oren Anthony Breaux Sr.

Oren A. Breaux Sr., of Westwego, LA, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2014 surrounded by his family at the age of 85. He was the loving husband of Rita Foret Breaux for 36 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Maude Breaux. Loving father of Oren A. Breaux Jr. (Debbie) and loving stepfather of Carol Reaves (Toni), Clyde Foret (Dianne), Ray Foret (Cindy), late Louis Joseph Foret Jr. . Loving grandfather of Ryan, Kristy, Rodney, Shannon, Jason, Ray Jr., Stacy, Hope, Brian, Yvette, and the late Mathew and 17 great grandchildren.

He is survived by an uncle, aunts, and a host of cousins and friends.

He retired as an expeditor from Avondale Shipyards. He enjoyed gardening, art work, wood working and computers. He loved sharing his art work with his family and friends. He loved sharing his computer ideas, had his own web site, built multiple computers, and was lovingly called PawPaw.com.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke’s Living Center and staff at Ochsner Westbank ICU and hospital for their care.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Westside Leitz- Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy. Marrero, LA, on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 9 A.M. until 11A.M.
