Paul Welch Sanderson Sr.

Paul Welch Sanderson, Sr., Veteran of World War II and husband of the late Theresa (Josie) Di Marco passed away peacefully to join his loving wife in heaven. Paul was born in Jasmine County, Kentucky, to Martha Agnes Reed and Buford Douglas Sanderson Sr.. He was a resident of Marrero since 1945. Paul was the Dad of Paul W. Sanderson, Jr., Rose Martha Sanderson Paradelas, and Mary Ann Sanderson Savoy. Grandfather of Kelly, Dale, and Mark Sanderson; Lisa Paradelas McLean, Michael Paradelas and Amy Savoy. Great Grandfather of Alexis, Madilyn, Dominic, Abigail, Hayden, Mason Sanderson and Jéan Paul Paradelas. Brother of Harold Sanderson of Fairborn, Ohio and Margaret Sanderson Showalter of Versailles, Kentucky. Also the brother of the late Orville, Ashby, Raymond, Buford, Georgiabell Sanderson Slatton and James Sanderson of Kentucky.

Paul was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and a retired employee of Alco-Columbia Paper Company. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #222.

Relative and friends of the family are invited to attend a Visitation at Westside Funeral Home in Marrero on Friday, November 12, 2010 from 9:00 A. M. until Funeral Mass time at 11:00 A.M.
