Paula Melancon passed away on March 12, 2022 at the age of 64. She was born on April 19, 1957 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Paul and Doris Plaisance. Loving wife of Donald Melancon. Devoted mother of Anjele Melancon (Charles Bettencourt). Proud grandmother of Sebastian Bettencourt and step-grandmother of Lance and Bransen Bettencourt. Sister of Lucille deBen (the late Mickey), Sandra Victoriano (the late Leroy), Lynn Plaisance and Mary Ockman (Jay). Paula is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her furbaby Ziva.
Paula loved cooking, gardening, fishing, riding motorcycles and crafting but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful caretaker. She took everyone in and loved them like they were her own. Paula also enjoyed spending time at the property in Mississippi.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
