Rodney Paul Folse

Rodney “Pizan” Paul Folse, age 67, was called home Friday, August 26, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Joycelyn Lee Folse for over 46 years. Loving father of Lance Joseph Folse. Proud grandfather of Gavin and Remi Folse and George Landry. Great grandfather of Trevor, Noah and Sophia Landry. Son of the late Daniel and Lilly Folse. Brother of Brian Folse and the late Daniel Folse Jr. and James Folse. Uncle of Darren Folse. Also survived by other family, friends and his beloved pet Bella.

Rodney was an avid fan of NASCAR. The faster they would go the louder he would cheer. He will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan, 5101 Westbank Expressway in Marrero on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 12:00pm. Visitation will begin at 8:00am and will continue until the time of service. Interment will immediately follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum in Westwego. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you join them for Rodney’s benefit on October 9, 2016 at the Westwego Civic Center from 12pm until 4pm and kindly make a donation.
