

He is survived by his daughter, Angela T. Michel (Darren); granddaughter Alexis T. Tully (Jason), grandsons Ross Sandras (Jamie) and Michael Michel (Brandi); great grandsons Ross Sandras Jr. and Blake Cancienne; sisters Madie Brock and Patricia "Pinky" Theriot; and sister-in-law Laurel Leboeuf (C.J.). He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Kathy P. Theriot; daughter Tanya T. Sandras; son-in-law David Michel Jr.; parents Tracy Theriot and Helena Falgout Theriot; siblings Terry Theriot, Emelda "Shirley" Sigur, Carol "Coy" Theriot, Remelton "Flem" Theriot, Trudy Courteaux, Jermaine "Jo" Savoie, Hal Theriot, Shelby "Tina" Dufrene, and Alvy "Pelou" Theriot. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He proudly served in the US Army for two years from 1964 to 1966. He retired in 2011 from Huntington Ingalls Industries' Avondale Shipyard after 20 years of service, where he worked in the sheet metal shop. He enjoyed playing golf and watching sports, especially the Saints.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Oru Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
