Ronald John “Pen Guy” Billingsley passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Wood Billingsley, and father of Shawn Billingsley of Oviedo, FL and Shannon Billingsley of Marrero, LA. He was the son of J. C. Billingsley of Inverness, FL and the late Eleanor Billingsley and step-son of Lourdes Billingsley of Inverness. He is survived by his two grandchildren, Brandon Billingsley of Weston, FL and Joshua Morel of Marrero; one sister, Donna Duff of Westlake, FL; and one step-sister, Kimberly Billingsley of Inverness; and one step-brother, Jay Billingsley of Inverness. He was a US Army veteran who served two and a half years in Vietnam.
A Memorial Visitation will take place in the Parlor of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
