Mr. Ronnie James Wheeler

Ronnie James Wheeler passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Monday Morning, October 14, 2013. He was 57. Beloved husband of Amy Dawn Bartholomew Wheeler. Father of Thomas, Diane, Xenia, Missy, and Sissy. Grandfather of Valentina, Ronnie James, Jordan, Sebastian, Gavin, Ethan, and Levi. Brother of Linda Grishaber, Tommie Wheeler, Garrie Wheeler, Suzanne Moody, and Brenda Hooks. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, Winfred and Lena Wheeler. Ronnie was a native of Benton, Illinois and resident of Buras for most of his life. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, and was true patriot. He was a very loving person, and enjoyed helping and caring for his family and friends. He was a great loss to this world, and will be dearly missed by many, especially his Amy Dawn. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Saint Patrick Catholic Church, Port Sulphur, on Monday Morning, October 21, 2013 at 11:00.
