Theresa Linda Dinet

Theresa Linda Dinet, age 75, of Denham Springs, Louisiana passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. She is the loving mother of Dan Barthelemy (Nicky), Cory Phillips, Sr. (Jessica) and Christopher Barthelemy (Cathy). She is the beloved sister of Caroline Dinet, Alfred Dinet, Jr. (Sharon), Andrea Dinet and Tommy Dinet. Beloved grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her precious "furbaby" Charlie Brown. She is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alfred, Sr. and Marie "Bertha" Dinet and her sisters Delia Riego and Lelya Bartholomew.

She worked at Buras High School for many years as a custodian where she eventually retired.

She loved to sit outside, watch the New Orleans Saints on TV, loved cooking and having a nice cold beer in the evening. She loved spending time with her family and she was the life of any party. She will truly be missed every Fourth of July.

To honor her memory, a visitation for Theresa will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 beginning at 9:30AM until mass time at 11:00AM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA 70072. Interment will be Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, Louisiana.
