Thomas J. "Tommy" LeBlanc of Westwego, Louisiana passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022 at the age of 71. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 17, 1951 to the late Henry J and Helen Babin LeBlanc, Sr. Loving brother of Darlene LeBlanc, Barbara Gillespie (Kevin, Jr.) and the late Henry J. Leblanc, Jr. and Bonnie LeBlanc. Uncle of Chad Gillespie, Cory Gillespie (Kelsey) and Candace Gillespie (Isaul). Tommy was also survived by other extended family and friends.
Tommy was a bass player for the LeBlanc Brothers Band for 30 years. He enjoyed music, fishing, and rabbit hunting. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heather Lee and Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care for their compassion and care.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, March 11, 2022 beginning at 10:00AM until 1:00PM at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00PM and interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
