Family was her everything. Her home was a refuge—filled with meals made from the heart, conversations that healed, and prayers whispered over everyone who walked through her door. She didn’t just love her family; she covered them. Her hands were never idle: they cooked, they rocked, they soothed, they wiped tears, they held babies, they reached out to help, and above all… they prayed for us.
In her final days, she continued to give love with the same grace she carried throughout her life. Even in her weakness, she held our hands and reminded us of the strength found in faith and family.
We will miss her warmth, her wisdom, her unwavering devotion, and the feeling of safety her presence brought. The love she poured into all of us will continue to shape our lives forever. Her legacy is not just in the generations who follow her, but in the way she taught us to care for each other, to stay close, and to lead with love.
Mrs. Hotard's gentle and thoughtful presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
