Viola Bartholomew Bartholomew Dinet

Viola Mary Bartholomew Dinet entered peacefully into heaven on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the age of 82 years. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis J. Dinet, Sr. Her survivors include her sons; Louis J. Dinet, Jr., (Gail), Michael J. Dinet (Cynthia), Kevin A. Dinet, daughters; Karen E. Dinet ,Melanie D. Duplessis (Ray) and preceded in death by her daughter Nona Dinet and sons, David A. Dinet and Milton J. Dinet. A proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren; Hollie, Kristal, Blair, Gordon, Bianca, Nicholas, Paul, Horace, Torie, Jennifer, Tynia, Rachell and great grandmother of 13 great grandchildren. She was also survived by her companion, Rosie, her dog. Loving daughter of the late Azalie Ancar Bartholomew and Arthur Bartolomew. Sister of Arthur C. Bartholomew, Jr., Herman Nolan, Gene Barthlemy, Sr., Frances Rodi, Ruby Rodi and preceded in death her brother Charles Barthelemy, Sr., and sisters Antonia B. Neri and Noreen B. Duplessis. She was also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was a native of Buras, LA and a resident of Tickfaw, LA. Viola enjoyed attending her church, cooking for her family, caring for her family especially her grandchildren and her home life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 28698 Hwy 23, Port Sulphur, LA on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 11:00 am.
