

Mrs. Ann Coleman Blackstone, 76, of Martinez, Georgia, beloved wife of the late Edward “Gene” Blackstone, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011. She was known by her children as the Greatest Mother that ever lived! She enjoyed taking care of everyone and loved everyone. She loved and cherished her family and loved them all immensely. She will be dearly missed by all.
Ann is survived by her seven children, Kevin Blackstone, Karen and G.L. Edenfield, Kathy Inglett, Kimberly Lever, Kyle Blackstone, Charlie “Jr.” James and Kelly Blackstone; fourteen grandchildren, Barbara Gail, Eric, Michelle, Summer, Morgan, Rachel, Amber, Hunter, Josh, Jacob, Heather, Angel, Brianna and Christen; five great-grandchildren, Caden, Carter, Dalton, Addison and Adrianna; two sisters, Louise Chapman and Ruby Boyd; and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services will be held 2PM, Saturday, September 3, 2011 in the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Ann’s nephew, Brother Dean Morris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ann’s family humbly expresses their gratitude to Julie Sauls, Rita Stewart, Virgil and Sandy Blackstone and Vera Baker for the care, love and compassion shown to them during her illness.
