Becky Becky Crook Henderson

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 2p.m. at Flowing Wells Worship Center with Rev. Tony Rhodes, Rev. Bobby Coleman, and Rev. George James. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Robert Jones, Matthew Jones, Aaron Bethune, Caleb Bethune, Dillon Quick, and Greg Bethune.

A lifelong resident of Augusta, Becky was the daughter of the late Thomas Watson Crook and Mary Sullivan Crook. She was a paraprofessional educator and she graduated from Academy of Richmond in 1961. She was a member of Flowing Wells Worship Center, where she was a pianist, the Women's Ministry, and the Southern Gospel Music Association. Becky enjoyed collecting cookbooks and dolls. Her most precious time was spent with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Nelson Anthony Henderson, Jr., and brother, Watson Crook. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Tony Henderson, daughters, Tabatha (Dwayne) Soto, Belvedere, SC, Candy (Henry) Shaffer, Evans, GA, sisters, Ernestine Jones, Martinez, GA, Ann (Milton) Bethune, Valley, Al, sister in law, Margie Crook, Harlem, GA, grandchildren, Haley Soto, Briana Soto, Logan Soto, Maxwell Shaffer, Jack Shaffer, and Milli Joy Shaffer.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 7-9p.m. at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez.
