Mrs. Massey was born to the late Will and Ruby Liscomb in Ruby, Mississippi. She later made Augusta, GA her home. Mrs. Massey was a giving and caring woman who also was a jack of all trades. She was a generous woman who would go above and beyond to help others in need. Mrs. Massey adored listening to Elvis, 90’s country and also watching her Atlanta Braves play baseball.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Massey is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Carson Massey Jr.; and her twin sister, Lillie Mae Cresanta. Survivors include her children, V. Lynn Wheeler and Bill Massey and his wife, Crystal; life partner, Stafford Thomas; grandchildren, Dallas Wheeler, Taylor Wheeler, Lindsay Masters (AJ), Randy Wilkerson, Stephanie Thornton and Stephen Thornton; numerous great-grandchildren; and niece, Patricia Cresanta.
The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
