She was born May 14, 1955 in Wellington NC. She lived in Florida and Alabama before moving to the Augusta area 17 years ago.
Carole McKinley is survived by her only child Barbara McKinley Tompkins and her grandson Omar J. Tompkins.
She was full of life and laughter and touched many people's hearts. Even after her death she was able to give life through organ donation.
A memorial dinner will be held at a later date.
