Charles was born in Augusta, GA to Charles Kelly Jr and Brenda Kelly in Augusta, GA. He is the grandson of the late, Major Charles Kelly.
Charles loved his family and God from an early age. Anyone who would listen, he wanted to speak the Gospel of Jesus Christ to. He ministered to many people about Jesus all over Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. He was a devout, prayerful steward of God. He often would hand out food to the homeless and give clothing to the needy. While living in Texas he loved to camp in the deserts with his brother, Wesley. Wesley and Charles encountered a wild boar and Wesley, not knowing what it was asked what it was, Charles told him to stay still and calm that it would all be ok.... but not to move. Charles later came back to Georgia where he could see the tall Georgia pines that he loved. Charles loved being outdoors where he could admire God’s creations. He always watched the sun come up while enjoying his morning coffee. Charles went to Ruby Falls with his fiancé, Ellen and he said it was the most beautiful natural wonder he had ever seen in his life.
Charles was a hard worker, working two jobs while attending school when he was called home to be with the Lord. He worked with his hands and was learning the new skill of working with metal and especially loved working for Two State, which he described as the best job at the best place he had ever worked. He was able to work in the most extreme heat of outdoors in the summer in Georgia and took pride in that strength.
He loved his entire family, his wife to be, Ellen and was especially excited to see his child who is a gift from God that will surely be well and good.
Charles is survived by his parents, Charles Kelly Jr and Brenda Kelly; fiancé, Ellen Chassereu; siblings, Ashley Kelly Alia (Andrew), Wesley Kelly, Lynda Kelly (Stephen Kloecker); nieces and nephews, Bella Watts, Quintin Watts, Cash Kelly; and many loved cousins, aunts and uncles, Jimmy Cook, Dianne Cook, David Cook, Jimmy Cook Jr., Aunt Carol Kelly Dorn (Mike), Barbara Kelly Howerton (Bruce) and great uncle Niel Norman.
