Danny Leon Beard

HARLEM, Ga. - Danny Leon Beard went home to be with His Lord & Savior on July 31, 2012 surrounded by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Life Center, 114 N. Belair Rd, Evans, GA. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Lee Anderson, Peter Anderson, Chris Aldridge, Joshua Beard, Jim Costello, Corey Beard, Ethan Bush, Preston Bush, & Nicholas Gentry. Danny was employed as Safety Coordinator for RDI Electrical. Danny was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved cooking for family and friends. Danny also leaves behind a large extended family and many friends who loved him dearly. He made an impression on our lives which will never be forgotten. Our Lambchop will greatly be missed. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Gail Beard, sons, Tyler Beard, Brandon Beard, daughter, Candace Pabón, parents, Betty Cushman and Johnny Beard, sisters, Angela (Roland) Anderson , Patricia (Timmy) Beard, Teresa (Brian) Bush, brothers, Ricky Beard, Randy (Amie) Beard, Andy Beard, and Jeff Beard. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Georgia Health Science University (MCG) that provided care during his last days. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 2, 2012 from 7-9pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Rd, Martinez. The family will also receive friends at Life Center for fellowship after the burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Life Center Building Fund, 114 N.
