Doris Green

Doris is preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, William T. Green; and her parents, James and Inez Weathersbee Sr.; and her sister, Elizabeth Janzen. She is survived by her son, William B. Green (Darryl); her daughter, Connie Sganga (Mike); grandchildren, Jason Green (Kat), Michael Sganga Jr. (Sara), and April Conway (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Emma and Noah Sganga, Logan and Kaden Conway; and her brother James Weathersbee Jr. (Molly).

Doris was loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family going on camping trips and traveling to the mountains and the beach. Doris worked at University Hospital for 21 years as the National Association of Housekeeping Executive Manager for patient and nonsupport patient areas through the 3rd-10th floor and the Behavioral Health area.

A celebration of life will be held at her residence, 216 Skinner Rd. Augusta, GA 30907, on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association and the American Diabetes Association.
