Perry, Ga. - Mr. Khalid Toomer entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Khalid had a heart of gold and a love for people. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Khalid served his country in the United States Navy for four years of his life and he was a member of the Islamic Society of Augusta.
Khalid was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Cleon Toomer; sisters, Susie and Maggie; brothers, Lonnie and Jessie; and one grandchild Shabazz.
Left to cherish his precious memories is his loving wife; Linda Toomer; his daughter, Jeanette Toomer; his sons, Muhammad and Rahsean; sisters, Bessie, Magnolia, Deloris, Justyne, Beverly and Doris; brothers Holland and Joseph; grandchildren, Monae , Abdullah, Ibrahim, Hasan, Hamzah, Shaquasia, Shakim and Kyron; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends
Funeral Services will be held 5 PM Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Islamic Society of Augusta Mosque in Martinez, Georgia. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, Georgia
